America’s Paul Richards, Belgium’s Bert Lams and Japan’s Hideyo Moriya met in England in 1987 at a Guitar Craft Course run by the Crimson King, Robert Fripp. Four years later, they formed the California Guitar Trio in Los Angeles, and haven’t stopped moving since. Running a relentless touring schedule, the masterful versatility of their ensemble playing has won them a hard core of admirers. Jazz, classical reworkings, western songs and surf music all figure in the stunning intricacy of their playing—a spider’s web of musical magic!
